ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
Do you have a heart for service and a vision for impact?
The Love Thy City Community Scholarship, sponsored by Fitzpatrick Architects, is now accepting applications.
Awards include:
- (3) $1,000 Scholarships
- (4) $500 Scholarships
To qualify, you must:
- Live in Tyler, TX or surrounding areas
- Be a high school senior during the 2024–2025 school year
- Have a GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Be active in community service
- Demonstrate moral character and faith-based leadership
- Plan to attend college or trade school in 2025–2026
- Submit a 2-minute video

LoveFEST 2025—a high-energy evangelistic outreach event at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium. Friends, you have been called to be a light in this world, and there’s no better time to let that light shine than through serving at Love Thy City 2025. God has given each of us unique gifts, and now is the time to use them to bless others and make a difference in our community.
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, we’ll come together for Love Thy City Day at W.T. Brookshire Center (11:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and LoveFEST at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium (5:00 PM to 8:00 PM). We need volunteers like you to help spread the message of hope, joy, and love that will transform lives and bring our city closer together.
The Bible says in Galatians 6:10, “As we have opportunity, let us do good to all people.” By volunteering, you’re not just helping with an event—you’re planting seeds of kindness, encouragement, and God’s love into every person who attends. Whether you’re greeting guests, organizing behind the scenes, or lending a helping hand, your service will have an eternal impact.
